Handcrafted Fun and Elegant – Jewelry by Jenny Wang

Originally from Inner Mongolia, I now live in Tallahassee, Florida. I have also lived in Stockholm, Sweden where I studied piano, and Vancouver, British Columbia where I studied English and worked in marketing at a small college. My daughter and I immigrated to the United States in 2005 to be with my wonderful husband. This is when I started making jewelry. I find the whole process to be very rewarding. First, I have a lot of fun searching for high quality and interesting gemstones and pearls, which I purchase at international gemstone shows and major pearl markets in Asia. Next, the creative part of me gets to come out in the design phase. After that, I get busy with my hands and transfer what I see in my mind into something pretty to wear. The last step is working with the customer to help them find the perfect piece of jewelry. I'm a people person, so I get to make a lot of new friends this way. Often I have the privilege to work with customers on special orders, including wedding jewelry. Having a satisfied customer is always a joy!
