Tallahassee Tuba & Euphonium Ensemble (T2E2)

Under the guidance of Lynn Ricks and Ted Zatselo, this group claims not to be “professional musicians,” but their fun and tight sound belies their claim! We are a group that started out of boredom & frustration in 1998. As You may imagine Tuba & Euphonium parts don't often offer much challenge. What's a Euphonium? It looks like a small tuba and basically fits in the Brass instrument family like the Cello fit in the Strings.

We first found the people, then we found some music, then we found a place. The people are Tuba and Euphonium players of all ages. The Music is arrangements of anything from popular tunes all the way back to medieval times. The place is often the Lake Ella Gazebo on some weekends. We found that venue to be fun for us and entertaining for folks walking.

We participate in TubaChristmas each year, played in a member's wedding and invited to play at a few churches. This is the 4th time we've been privileged to play for Southwodstock.
